You agree that the terms of this Agreement shall be effective on the Issue Date. For your own benefit and protection, you should read this Agreement carefully before signing it. Retirement planning is about answering the big questions about how to fund and plan for your retirement years. Retirement provision is the responsibility of our financial planning department and is calculated in the same way. You can opt for a continuous financial planning service that is paid monthly or through one-time or one-time services that simply look at your retirement needs in isolation. You can see a full breakdown of our financial planning fees and choose the plan that`s right for you. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any action, proceeding or claim we incur, directly or indirectly, as a result of our actions under this Agreement, unless such indemnification does not apply to the extent that it results from our negligence, fraud, breach of this Agreement or our regulatory liabilities. This is an important document and we ask that you read it carefully to make sure you understand the agreement you are entering into. The terms of this Agreement will be effective immediately upon the authorized signature of either party and will survive termination.

This document constitutes the legal agreement or contract between you and NorthStar. This agreement is issued on behalf of NorthStar by Ocean Village Innovation Centre, Ocean Way, Southampton, Hampshire, SO14 3JZ. Within each service category, there are a number of specific services. Each service is affected by a specific fee, described in the section below. Some services are provided on an ongoing basis, others “once”. The details of the specific services you have chosen will be clearly communicated to you. You are free to initiate or discontinue any service provided by NorthStar at any time, subject to all related fees paid to cover the services provided on that date. The fees listed below apply only to financial planning services. If investments, pensions or other services are required, the fees are provided for in this document. If the money is held back in your business, you need to make sure it`s invested smartly.

We manage corporate investments in the same way as our investment management service and calculate the same amount as for any other investment. This is typically 0.8% per year if you are invested in a NorthStar portfolio and 1% per year if your business investment is made with another provider. The Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 requires us to explain the most important aspects of our operation and the impact on you, the clients. Some of the services we provide may not be regulated by the FCA as they are not included in the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. If we intend to provide advice on unregulated activities, we will confirm what these services are and the fact that they are not regulated by the ACF. As a rule, we take all costs directly from your investments, but you can pay us directly for our investment services if you wish. NorthStar may terminate or supplement the services we offer at any time by giving you written notice of any change or cancellation with at least 14 days` notice. We manage the money you have in retirement in the same way as our investment management service and charge the same amount as for any other investment. .
